Two injured in rear-ending accident in Campbellsville

Injuries a result of a collision on South Columbia Avenue on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at approximately 4:12pmET when a 2003 Pontiac Montana mini-vab rear ended a 2003 Kia Optima.

Narrative: On Saturday, October 29, 2011 at approximately 4:12 P.M., a 2003 Pontiac Montana mini-van being operated by 59 year old William Wethington of Campbellsville rear ended a 2003 Kia Optima being operated by 21 year old Brittany Jackson also of Campbellsville, KY. The Jackson vehicle was stopped on South Columbia Avenue waiting to make a left hand turn into Lucky Vista Motel when the Wethington vehicle struck her in the rear. A passenger in the Wethington vehicle, 60 year old Susan Wethington and a passenger in the Jackson vehicle, 21 year old Dennis Lamer both of Campbellsville were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville Taylor County EMS. Another passenger in the Jackson vehicle, Jasmin Lamer was not injured.

Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Department, Campbellsville Taylor County EMS, and Campbellsville Taylor County Fire/Rescue.

Investigating Officers: Lt. Shannon Wilson.
