Pedestrian dies after being struck by automobile in Campbellsville, KY

A pedestrian, 32 year old Richard D. Wilson, Campbellsville, KY, died of injuries received after being struck by a vehicle on East Broadway near Kroger in Campbellsville KY, on Friday evening, October 28, 2011, at 9:25pmET/8:25CT

From the Campbellsville, KY Police Department

Incident: 21 year old, Brandy Buster of Leitchfield, KY was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt east on Broadway when 32 year old Richard D Wilson Jr. of Campbellsville, KY, stepped into the path of the vehicle. Wilson was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY by Campbellsville Taylor County Emergency Medical Services. Wilson was pronounced dead a short time later from injuries suffered in the collision.

Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Department, Taylor County Sheriff Office, Campbellsville Taylor County Emergency Medical Services, Campbellsville Fire and Rescue.
