Lora Mills passed away Friday October 28, 20011 at Charleston Health Care in Danville, KY. She was 92.

Funeral services will be at 1pmET/12 noon CT, Sunday October 30 , 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ray Mills officiating. Burial is in Salem Cemetery.Visitation is Saturday from 6pm-9pmCT, at the funeral home.



Lora Mills, Casey County, KY (1918-2011)

She was born in Casey County, KY, on Tuesday November 5, 1918. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Bolt Cleary. She died Friday, October 28, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 92 years, 11 months, and 23 days.

She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Mills; a son, Marshal Mills; three brothers, John Malachi Cleary , Lee Cleary and Jimmy Cleary; and three sisters, Ioda Overstreet, Jane Beatty and Victoria Davis.

Survivors include the following:
  • Four sons: John W. "Billy" Mills of Liberty, Donald Mills of Louisville, Arnold Mills of Liberty and Ray Mills of Louisville, KY

  • Two daughters: Sheila Brown of Liberty, KY; and Shirley McCormick of Liberty, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • And twelve great grandchildren
Funeral arrangement entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY.
