Lindsey Wilson's Cresap MSC Football offensive player of week Shelbyville, KY, native connected on 23-of-40 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns in the Blue Raiders' 37-24 win over Kentucky Christian University on Saturday, October 24, at Blue Raider Stadium, Columbia, KY From Dan Wilson LOUISVILLE, KY - Lindsey Wilson College's Branden Cresap is the Mid-South Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week for the award period ending October 23, conference officials announced on Monday, October 24, 2011. The weekly conference honor is the first of the season for the freshman quarterback. Cresap set a pair of school records in passing yards and touchdowns to earn the weekly honor. The Shelbyville, KY, native connected on 23-of-40 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns in the Blue Raiders' 37-24 win over Kentucky Christian University on Saturday. Cresap finished the game with touchdown tosses of 69, 65, 47, 35 and 23 yards. Cresap ranks second in the MSC in both total offense (306.1 yards per game) and passing yards (318) and third in the conference with 15 touchdown passes. He ranks third in the NAIA in passing and fifth in total offense. Lindsey Wilson improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the MSC East Division with Saturday's win.
