Proven crowd pleaser re-enactors in Silent City TODAY Great Performances this afternoon with Joe Conn, Emmalee Baker, Mike Watson, Lee Ann Jessee, J.D. & Ellen Zornes, Gary Pike, Mr. Richard Phelps, Barry Jones, Ken Hill, and Kenneth Bennett Those who have seen past Silent City performances know to expect great theater as well as have a chance to learn Adair County history in enlightening, capsule Adair County History 101 vignettes. This year, seasoned veteran re-actors are back, for ensemble and solo performances, with one featuring, by Silent City standards, an acting company of Cecil B. deMille proportions. The segment features Gary Pike, and will reveal the answer which has long been on a lot of people's minds: How did Pelham Branch Road get its name? This and five other equally riveting skits will be performed by these casts:
