Wonder Team article reminds writer of her Horse Cave days Martha Berry writes: Thank you for publishing the article about "Uncle" Charley Moran. I never knew him. He had died before we moved to Horse Cave, but I remember Miss Sallie, his daughter-in-law. Ann, his Grandaughter, and I were playmates when Dad was pastor of Horse Cave Methodist Church, and I remember the stories about "Uncle Charley" and his defeat of Harvard but never knew the whole story. FYI, Miss Sallie made the best chocolate fudge this side of heaven, (except for my sister's. Mary Goodson's didn't take a back seat to anyone.). -MARTHA BERRYComments re article 47751 Letter Recommends The Wonder Team This story was posted on 2011-10-23 15:04:38
