ADAIR wins Class AAA Regional Marching Band competition Win at Hart County High School, Hart Co. High School, 1014 South Dixie Highway, Munfordville, Horse Cave, KY, qualifies ADAIR for State Finals in Bowling Green next Saturday, October 29, 2011. ACHS going for 20th State Championship Click on headline for story and adairband.com photos by Doyle Lloyd By Sharmarie Claiborne Newss from the Adair County High School Band ADAIR crossed the first hurdle in this year's quest to win their 20th State Championship! They are the AAA West Region Champions! Yesterday at Hart County High School, twelve AAA bands competed to win one of eight spots from the western region to advance to the coveted semi-finals next weekend. They were in order of performance:
ADAIR will be competing next Saturday morning at Allen County High School in the AAA sweet sixteen semi-finals. As of time of posting we do not have an exact time but the sweet sixteen from AAA are:AAA West Bands: Hart County, Elizabethtown, Adair County, Russell County, Taylor County, South Warren, Allen-Co/Scottsville and Warren EastAAA East Bands: Bourbon County, Boyle County, Garrard County, Rowan County, Corbin, Estill County, North Oldhamand Boyd CountyMore details as to driving directions and performance time for next Saturday morning will be posted as soon as we get them.
