No injuries in Adair School Bus, passenger car collision Collision occurred Thursday, at intersection of bypass, Pelham Branch Road On October 20, 2011, Columbia Police Department. investigated a two vehicle non-injury collision on KY 55 bypass at the junction of Pelham Branch Road. The collision occurred when a 2005 Chevy Malibu, operated by Andrea Meredith, 18, of Cave City, KY, pulled into the path of Adair County School bus, being operated by Daril Salyers of Columbia. The bus was traveling north on KY 55 bypass. A passenger in the Meredith vehicle Rachel Edwards, 22, of Columbia, KY, wasn't injured nor were the passengers on the bus. The collision was investigated by Detective Tracy McCarol with assistance from officers Bruce McCloud and Kevin Atwood. -From Columbia Police Department. This story was posted on 2011-10-21 19:06:10
