RMH played big role in the Moore family's life Telissa Moore says her families stay at Louisville Ronald McDonald House gave comfort of knowing they were just around the corner from their little guy Printable 2011 Wish List for Ronald McDonald House. ColumbiaMagazine.com supports The Crusade for Children, Kosair Charities, and the Ronald McDonald House support drives By Telissa Moore As today is the day of the Ronald McDonald House Collection Drive, I want to encourage everyone to donate what they can to this wonderful charity event. This drive has become an important event in my life since 2009, when my family found ourselves needing somewhere to rest while our newborn son, Brent. was in the NICU at Kosairs for 9 days. Although, our stay was not as long as others, it was long enough to have a huge impact on my life! The Ronald McDonald House provided us with the comfort of knowing we were just around the corner from our little guy, if he needed us at any hour. So, on behalf of Brent and my family, along with all the other families from Adair and surrounding counties whom the RMH has helped throughout the years, I am asking everyone who can and would to please make a contribution to this wonderful cause and remember, it's not how much you give it''s the thought that counts! Thanks in advance for your contributions and May God Bless those that can give and those that cannot. Telissa Moore and Family. -TELISSA MOORE 4th annual Columbia/Adair County Ronald McDonald House Charities Donation/Drop-Off is 3pm-6pmCT, Thursday, October 20, 2011, behind the Chamber Building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.
