Story of Pelham Branch naming part of Silent City 2011 5th Annual Silent City Tour starts at AC Library, 307 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY By Barry Jones As always, I am looking forward to doing the Silent City Tour again. I am honored that the good folks from the library included me in this local history event again. It is very encouraging to see the crowds grow bigger every years. This year I will be helping Gary Pike tell an actual accounting of the naming of Pelham Branch that is exciting, fun and will make you realize the importance of this area during the founding times of our state. I would like to encourage everyone to take the time to come by and enjoy some great folks telling interesting stories about our colorful past at the stones of the people who lived it. What a respectful way to honor our past and the people who lived it. -BARRY JONES This story was posted on 2011-10-19 14:44:11
