The Adair County High School Class of 1961 will hold its 50th Year Anniversary on Saturday, November 5, 2011, from 4pm-9pmCT, at Mulligan's Restaurant at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson, 275 County Club Rd, Columbia, KY 42728. (Main office Number 270-384-8097.

Itemized details follow:



Food - Mulligan's will provide light refreshments from 4pm-6pmCT with a buffet meal at 6pmCT.. While the exact menu is still under discussion, we promise a great meal! Cost is $20 per person which covers the meal and our mailing/organizational expenses for the reunion.

Reservations - Make reservations for you and your guest(s) as soon as possible! Mail - by Wednesday, October 25 for receipt by Saturday, October 29, 2011 - the reservation form with a check -no credit cards- payable to ACHS Class of '61 - to Joseph Pyles, Master Builder, 403 Fairgrounds Street, Columbia, KY 42728. Include your personal info sheet if you haven't already sent it in!

Background: - The initial 50th Anniversary Organizing Committee consists of Richard Lee Walker, 270-634-0135, rlwcolky@duo-county.com, Joe Pyles, 270-378-1118, joepylesbrickand block@gmail.com, Nancy McKinney, 270-384-3797 (home) or 270-250-3458 (cell), napa1@duo-county.com, Glenn (Pat) Glasgow-606-272-9611, glenn.glasgow@gmail.com. We now have more volunteers, but certainly can use even more!

Event Set-Up. Mulligan's - will be open as early as 1pmCT on November 5 to accommodate those needing to set-up and help organize the event.

Table Decorations efforts are led by Louella Hutchison Gore (270-566-2126; cgore@duo-county.com, Jo-Ann Rodgers Elder (270-250-1027), and Judith Henson Goodin (270-384-4060; janngoodin@windstream.net). If you can help with these efforts, contact one of them!

Memories/Mementos tables are being coordinated by Brenda Dial Hamm (606-365-7641) and Brenda Burton (270-634-2177). We need more volunteers! If you have pictures, memory books, etc. that you wish to share, let them know so we can arrange to have adequate display boards and tables.

Music- ('50s/'60's) is provided by Trilby Harvey Vance and Sonny Vance; PA System is provided by Richard Lee Walker; Banking Services (A checking account, no loans!) is provided by Joseph Pyles.

Physical Help/Set-Up - Bill Aaron (270-376-1868; bjaaron@duo-county.com) and Michael Owens (270-384-3720) will help with whatever physical help we may need for set-up/tear-down for the event.
