He retired after working in the planning division for the Kentucky State Transportation Department for over 40 years. He was a WWII Army veteran and member of the Watson's Chapel Christian Church Elvie R. Wall, 85, passed away Wednesday October 5, 2011 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY. Funeral services were at 1:30pmET/12:30pmCT, Sunday October 9, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Charles Woodcock officiating. Burial is at Valley Oak Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Pallbearers are Wendell Woodyard, Chuck and Jason Woodcock, Keith Trimble, Paul and Ryan Wall, Joey McAninch and Harold Cravens. Elvie R. Wall, Casey Co., KY (1926-2011) He was born in Casey County, KY, on Wednesday April 21, 1926. He was the son of the late James Hiram and Zerelda Cravens Wall. He died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 14 days. He retired after working in the planning division for the Kentucky State Transportation Department for over forty years. He was a WWII Army veteran and member of the Watson's Chapel Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Orella Lawson and brother, Ezra Thomas Wall. Survivors include the following:
