Griffitt Powell featured in Times Square video Click on headline for full story, photo, link to video By Michelle Powell Griffitt Powell, son of Brent and Michelle Powell of Columbia, is featured in the 2011 National Down Syndrome Society's Awareness Video. October is Down syndrome awareness month and each year a video is compiled of pictures of people with Down syndrome. This video serves as a tool to promote the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The video aired on September 24, 2011 in Times Square. This year's video is approximately 18 minutes long and Griffitt's picture is 4:57 into the it. The link below takes you directly to the video.
