Frederick Dominick Boone, Louisville, KY (d. Oct. 2, 2011) Fred Boone was an adventurous man who led a highly eventful life, full of passion and love. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, the former Jan Maupin of Columbia, KY as well as going on trips out West with his sons. Fred's passion and appreciation for music was supreme. Fred was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan, enjoyed golfing and countless days on Nolin Lake. Frederick Dominick Boone, 61, of Louisville, died at his home on Sunday, October 2, 2011. He was the owner of Boone's Convenience Stores. In 1968, he graduated from St. Xavier and was a veteran of the Air National Guard. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11amET/10amCT at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 2233 Woodbourne Avenue, Louisville, KY, with burial in the Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Avenue, Louisville, KY. Visitation from 2pm-9pmET/1pm-8pmCT, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY. Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements. Fred Boone, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY (d. Oct. 2, 2011) Fred Boone was an adventurous man who led a highly eventful life, full of passion and love.
