Mrs. June Huff Hayes, age 75, of Carter Branch Road in Cumberland Co., KY, passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2011 at The University Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, October 2, 2011 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Raymond Castillo officiating with burial to follow in the Marrowbone Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 2pmCT, Saturday, October 1, 2011, and continue till the funeral hour on Sunday.



June Huff Hayes, Cumberland Co., KY (1936-2011)

She was born in Cumberland County near the Willowshade Community on Saturday March 7, 1936 the daughter of Allen and Eunice Harper Huff. She passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2011 at The University Hospital in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 21 days.

She was a homemaker, a Seamstress at Osh Kosh B'Gosh at Marrowbone, and a member of Waterview Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hayes, Daughter, Sherry June Hayes, Daughter-in-law, Doris Hayes, Grandson, Scotty Hayes, Siblings, Earl Huff, Irene Brown, Lavena Wallace, Ray Huff, Virginia Simpson, Robbie Hunt and Jessie Huff.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her daughter: Terri Hayes (and Ronnie) Anderson of Burkesville, KY

  • Sons: Roger Hayes of Pulaski, TN., Dennis (and Angie) Hayes of Pulaski, TN., Donald Hayes of Burkesville, KY, Douglas Hayes of Pulaski, TN., Charles "Chuck" (and Angie) Hayes of Edmonton, KY

  • Sister: Joan Crick of Jeffersonville, Indiana

  • Eighteen grandchildren: Dustin (and Sarah) Hayes, Christopher Anderson, Corey Hayes, Dusty Hayes, Nicky Hayes, Andrea Anderson, Casey Hayes, Sierra Hayes, Carrie Hayes, Dallas Hayes, Kendra Scott, Mary Hayes-Kerr (and Nick) Carly Hayes, Tiffany Hayes, Jonathan Hayes, Devin Hayes, Dennis Hayes, and Amber Hayes

  • Nine great grandchildren: Charlotte Crawley, Dusty Hayes, Allie Hayes, La Jayla Hayes, Drew Parker Scott, Blake Hayes, Marley Kerr, Connor Hayes and Cameron Hayes
