Groups may donate to Dakota Scholarship Fund at Ceremony Any group, church, business, which would like to donate at the Sunday, October 2, 2011 Ceremony can arrange to do so at Adair County Judge Executive's office, Adair Annex, Suite 1, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY About the fund "The valor of Sgt. Dakota Meyer is unparalleled and highlights the selfless sacrifice made by all Marines. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is inspired by Sgt. Meyer's dedication and commitment to the Marine Corps. We are honored that Sgt Meyer has partnered with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation to raise $1 million by the Foundation's 50th Anniversary on May 28, 2012. He has also issued a 'Challenge to America' to match his efforts and raise an additional $1 million to 'Honor Marines by Educating their Children'.
