By Sheila Willis

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, September 26, 2011, at lunch, students, faculty and staff members at ACHS will be contributing to the Dakota Meyer Scholarship Foundation. All personnel and students have been encouraged to 'empty their pockets' for this very worthy cause.

Our efforts are part of a challenge that state representative Bam Carney has started between several local high schools. Since we are Dakota's hometown, of course ACHS wants to win this challenge for his cause.

Any community member wanting to help can drop money off at our front office this week. Money will be tallied at the end of the week and members of the National Honor Society and BETA club will present the funds to Dakota next Sunday afternoonThanks, everyone for your help.
