Back his scholarship fund

There's a concrete way for every Adair Countian, every Green Countian, every Kentuckian, and every American to help a cause Congressional Medal of Honor holder Dakota Meyer places a high priority on: The Dakota Meyer $1 Million Dollar Scholarship Fund.



CJE Ann Melton, and Columbia Mayor Mark D. Harris are coordinating the sale of Dakota Meyer "For Those Who Gave All" shirts, which will be available to purchase monday morning at the Judge's office at Suite 1, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, and at Mayor Harris' office in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.The T-Shirts are $12.00 each - $6.00 of the purchase price will go toward the Scholarship Fund.

Duane Bonifer, Public Relations Director of Lindsey Wilson College, said that the school is really getting behind the drive, and encourages everyone to donate online at dakotameyer.com. Pen is already working on a Clickstorm to encourage CM readers to do their part, and we're sure other groups and websites across the country will do the same.

A portion of the receipts at tonight's expected capacity crowd Lindsey Wilson vs. Campbellsville University football game will go to the scholarship fund. The game starts at 7pmCT/8pmET, tonight, Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Blue Raider Stadium, 820 Hanley Lane, Columbia, KY, at 7pmCT.

For those who wish to contribute with 100% of the money going to the fund can do so online at dakotameyer.com or through one of the area schools, including Adair County High School, which are participating in the in the Dakota Meyer Scholarship initiative.
