Beshear announces $200,000 in Kentucky Agricultural Development Funds for Adair Co., KY - CM By Nick Roy The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board approved $200,000 in Agricultural Development Funds for the Adair County C.A.I.P. program (County Agricultural Investment Program) to be administered by the Adair County Cattlemen's Association.C.A.I.P. is designed to provide farmers with incentives to allow them to improve and diversify their current production practices. CAIP covers a wide variety of agricultural enterprises in its 11 investment areas. The investment areas are:
Applications for the program will be available October 10 - October 21, 2011 during regular business hours at the Adair County Extension Office located at 409 Fairground Street in Columbia.
