Allan Shoots Career-Best 71 to lead Lindsey Wilson Women's Golf

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Lindsey Wilson sophomore Kaitlin Allan shot a career-low one-under par 71 today to lead the Don Bishop Invitational hosted by Campbellsville University.

Allan's round helped the Blue Raiders to a team-total 321 and a nine-shot lead over second-place University of the Cumberlands (330) at Campbellsville Country Club. Host Campbellsville is third with a 338.



Allan completed her round with three birdies and two bogeys in the rain-soaked round. She bettered her previous best round by four shots.

Lindsey Wilson's Kelsey Joslyn is tied for fourth following an opening round 81 (39-42) and Jennifer MacKinnon is tied for 10th with an 84 (42-42). Paola Gonzalez is tied for 12th with an 85 (44-41) and Candace Stacy is tied for 22nd with a 91 (46-45).

Bryan College's Audrey Nelson is second following an opening round 78 (41-37).
