Letter: Holding Dakota Meyer in his continuing prayers

'He deserves not only our respect, but he needs our prayers' - BOBBIE SEXTON
Bobbie Sexton writes:
As a retiree of the US Military I am extremely proud of SGT Meyer. He is now among a very elite group of men. He has my respect, my concern and my prayers.

Time will help some with memories of actions he has experirenced. He will reach the point where he isn't tempted to scream, "hit the deck," at certain sounds. Some of the places and the people he has known will fade. Not so the ones he lost. They will return in dreams and when he lies sleepless in the night. It's the eyes. The eyes will haunt him forever, I think.

SGT Meyer deserves not only our respect, but he needs our prayers. --Bobbie Sexton
