Adair County Garden Club needs help for Downtown Days

ACGC needs to rent or borrow coffee pot, pump pot for October event. Members now taking orders for famous apple butter. Cinnamon rolls will be ready for Friday morning of Downtown Days and Saturday. And, this year, Yard Folks will be available for sale.

By Maury Lewis

We need a large coffee pot to rent or borrow for downtown days and we also need a pump pot (used to keep coffee and hot chocolate, hot) for Downtown Days.

We will be selling our "crock pot apple butter" again this year and we will have more jars of the sugar free to sell. We will be selling half-pints and pint jars. If you want to order some apple butter before Downtown Days, call me, Maury Lewis, at 270-384-8890 or Barbara Armitage at 270-250-2979.

Barbara will also be taking orders for her cinnamon rolls that we can deliver on Friday morning to your office and we will be selling them fresh from the oven Saturday morning with hot chocolate or hot coffee.

We will be down in the food court and we will also have a booth in the square with a silent auction for very, very very cute yard folks. They are made to stand or sit in your garden, yard or on your porch.

We are looking forward to seeing and serving you this year.

Maury E. Lewis, Chairperson for the Downtown Days Adair County Garden Club
