Gary Froedge, Edmonton, KY (d. Aug. 30, 2011)

He was a member of a respected Metcalfe Co., KY, family. He was an employee of Southern Kentucky Collision and a United States Army veteran

Gary (Frog) Froedge age 65 of Edmonton, KY, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY. with burial in the Cedar Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm-8pmCT, Friday, September 2, 2011, and after 9amCT, Saturday, September 3, 2011, at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Joe and Velma Garmon Froedge.

He was an employee of Southern Kentucky Collison and a Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Sue Brewster Froedge, and the following:
  • Four step children: Angie McCoy of Edmonton, KY; Pam Holman of Glasgow, KY; Dewayne Taylor of Glasgow, KY; and Ervie Melton of Edmonton, KY

  • Four brothers: Neal, Larry, Billy and Bobby Froedge all of Edmonton, KY

  • One sister: Annie Whitlow of Edmonton, KY
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters, Clyde, Morris and Stanley Froedge, Dortha Whitlow, Shirley Smith, Maedell Froedge and Fern Huff.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 E. ST, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
