Charles Marshburn: Prohibition failed Charles Marshburn writes: Prohibition supposedly ended in 1933. It was a failed experiment. Bootleggers were put out of business? Not in dry counties that failed to see the light! They are still in business and folks are driving 25 miles or more to purchase alcohol, drink it on the way back and have accidents that would not have occurred if the alcohol was available locally that they are going to drink anyway. Common sense will eventually prevail. I have faith. - Charles MarshburnComments re article 46510 BJ Fudge sends one liner for use in todays Great Slider War This story was posted on 2011-08-29 05:00:58
