Billy Joe Fudge asks about front of Cardinal Inn Building

Comments re photo 41622 Cardinal Inn 1942 successor to White Castle InnBilly Joe Fudge writes:
On top of the building of the Cardinal Inn is that some sort of facade? Looks like a giant layered wedding cake. -Billy Joe Fudge
Thanks. Perhaps a reader can find a photo to share of the front of the building before it was remodeled when Garnett Young moved Paull Drug from 134 Public Square to 100 Public Square and changed the name to Young's Rexall. Before that, the layer cake was in place and I believe the business which occupied the building was called Motor Electric or Motor & Electric or some variation. Perhaps it was a different sequence. Perhaps someone versed in architecture can speak to the style. -EW
