This is one of at least three photos of this school group. Two photos are almost alike, taken the same day, except in one the teachers are sitting in front of the students. In the second, the teachers are standing at each end, and in this one, the plaque with school and year are almost totally covering the face of Ruby Cape (Coffey). The students and teachers were identified by my mother, Ruby Cape Watson and her sisters, Ella Cape Bunch and Gladys Cape Bunch on several occasions in the 1980s and 1990s.

Second row: Ben Huddleston, Delpha Cape (Grant), Will Ed Cape, Ilene Blakey (Reeder), Buell Hadley, Ruby Cape (Coffey), Kathleen Huddleston (Powell), Maxine Huddleston (Dykes), Fay Hadley (Willan), Walter Burchett

Some of the same students are present in this photo, but there are additions. It was taken at a different time, as clothes are different from the other two, but it is the same year. However, our dad, Carl Watson, is in this third photo. --Mike WatsonComments re photo 41519 Melson Ridge School 193738
