Query: When was Twin City Drive Inn Horse Cave KY torn down?

Re: Twin City Drive-In, Horse Cave, Kentucky by Horse Cavite Tom Chaney, inspired by a photo in the Larry Smith Collection, Historic Hart Co., KY: Twin City Drive-in/Larry Smith

Brandon London writes:
In reference to an on-going debate on a Facebook forum, I was just wondering if anyone knew the exact date and year the old Twin City Drive In in Horse Cave, KY was torn down? Some people seem to think that it was demolished in 1980, however, I and several others are pretty certain that the old drive in stood up (if not operational) until at least the late '80's or early '90's. Any help is appreciated. --Brandon London charles.b.london@us.army.mil
We hope a reader will know the answer. It is a question which has been much on our minds since the revelations of Larry Smith and Tom Chaney. Comments are welcome at Contact/Submit button at CM as well as directly to Charles B. London.
