Letter: When God made Kentucky, he was really feeling good!

Looking forward to beautiful new home in Adair County

Maria writes
Hi Ed: How nice to receive your response to my comment and - what a great heading for it! I'm really tickled. I was born in Evansville, Indiana and raised in Arizona since I was 3 years old. I'm really old now!

My husband's family settled in western Kentucky in the 1740's. In researching a place to retire, we discovered south central Kentucky and fell in love with it! All I can say is, "when God made Kentucky, He was really feeling good!" God bless - we are looking forward to settling in to our beautiful new home - Columbia, Kentucky! -Marla
Maria: This is great news! You sound exactly like the kind of people we are looking for here. Come to think of it, we've been getting very few rejects/send backs for failure to assimilate lately, though I haven't checked with Dr. Johnny Vaughan, headmaster of the Adair Assimilation Academy lately. Generally, his notions and prejudices trump my own. Almost all really good people are coming in, as I see it. -EW.
