The Indians came away with a couple of wins to keep their match play records perfect on the year. The Varsity Indians posted a score of (153) to defeat Green County's (195). The Jr. Varsity team carded a score of (173) to defeat Green County's (226). Alex Durham continued his tremendous play leading the Indians with a 2-under par round of (34). Daniel Rarey also played an impressive even par round of (36). Riley Grant's (41), Trey Garmon's (42) and Van Giles's (44) rounded out the tribe's scorecard. On the Jr. Varsity side, Jerrod Grider led the way with a terrific round of (39). Blake Maupin's (40), Jacob Keltner's (45), Austin Cundiff and Tanner Garmon carded (49's) and Jameson Miller's (50) rounded out the scoring for the JV Indians. Coach's critique: I was very satisfied with our play today. Alex and Daniel were tremendous. Alex is starting to come into his own and realize just how good he can be. Trey Garmon also played well in his first Varsity start of the season. On the JV side of things, what can I say, other than they did it again. Once again, our young boys came out ready to play and take on the challenge of their first away match of the year. We are becoming a pretty hard team to beat. Varsity match play record stands at 6 and 0 for the season, while the JV Indians improved to 3 and 0 for the season. Next up Adair County High School Boys Golf v.
