Howard Ray Thompson passed away Sunday August 21, 2011 at his home on Allen Creek Road in Casey County. He was 59.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday August 24, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial will be at Whited Cemetery.Visitation will be 5pm-9pmET/4pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, August 23, 2011 with Eastern Star and Masonic Services beginning at 7pmET/6pmCT at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Bill Whitford, Doug Johnson, Mike Hreha, Mike Beard, Doug Hafley and Jarrod King.

He was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, Saturday, September 1, 1951. He was the son of Pauline Roberts Thompson of Liberty, KY, and the late Orn Thompson. He died in Sunday, August 21, 2011, in Casey County, KY, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and 29 days.

He was a 40 years sales clerk for NAPA Auto Parts and member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

He enjoyed farming and was a member and past master of Craftsman Lodge No. 722 and member and past worthy patron of Casey Chapter No. 30 Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rhonda Roberts Thompson of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Angela Black of Liberty, KY

  • One step-daughter: Amber Perin of Liberty, KY

  • Two step-sons: Christopher and Cody Perin both of Liberty, KY

  • And four granddaughters: Reagan Black, Pennie Godbey, Chloe Perin and Bella Godbey
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
