Fannie E. Dickens age 87 years of Louisville, KY formerly of Adair County passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her home.

Funeral service Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10amET9amCT, at W. G. Hardy Valley Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272 | (502) 937-6400, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be 3pm-8pmET/2pm-7pmCT, Friday, at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home.

Graveside service Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET at the Regan Cemetery at Glens Fork, KY with burial to follow. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 200 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, in charge of local funeral arrangements.

Fannie E. Dickens, formerly of Adair Co., KY (1923-2011)

She was the daughter of the late R. and C. and Flora Cundiff of Adair County.She was born Wednesday, November 19, 1924. She died Wednesday, August 17, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 29 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Dickens. Survivors include the following:
  • Her sons: Duane Dickens and wife Regina and David Dickens and wife Elaine of Louisville, KY

  • Grandchildren: Hope Carder and husband Ray, Josh and Ashley Dickens

  • Great grandchildren: Cameron and Caleb Carder

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church and a former member of Bethhaven Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
