Clan MacQuarrie Gathering at Bearwallow UMC a McQueary congregation

Event of the Kentucky/Tennessee Chapter of the Clan MacQuarrie Society will be in Columbia, KY. All MacQuarries (McQuearys), descendants, relatives and FRIENDS (this takes in everybody in Adair County) are welcome. -CM

The Kentucky/Tennessee Chapter of the Clan MacQuarrie Society (KTCMS) will hold it inaugural meeting in Columbia, Kentucky on Saturday, September 24, 2011.

For those interested in a golf outing, the first KTCMS Golf Tournament will be held at Dale Hollow State Park at 3pmCT, the day before, Friday, September 23, 2011, weather permitting.



It will be a festive and fun event. The Clan meeting will be held at Bearwallow United Methodist Church, 6090 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY 42728, a McQueary congregation, on Highway 206 near Columbia at 2pmCT (8pm in Edinburgh, Scotland and 2pm in Edinburgh, Indiana - CM).

BEARWALLOW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. 6090 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY 42728. Pastor Caleb LaFond. Sunday Worship Services 9:30amCT and 7:00pmCT, Sunday School 10:30amCT, Wednesday: Youth at 5:30pmCT Bible Study at 6:30pmCT. The adjoining Bearwallow Cemetery is at 6080 Liberty RD, and the Fellowship Hall is 200 Bearwallow Cemetery RD, Columbia, KY
It will include presentations, testimonials, and discussions of MacQuarrie/McQueary heritage from Scotland to Kentucky.

There will also be a cemetery walk to reflect on significant McQuearys from the local community.

The evening will conclude with dinner at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia. All MacQuarries (McQuearys), descendants, relatives and friends are welcome.
