Lurlene Stephens Fox of Springfield, TN formerly of Adair Co., KY. passed away Wednesday August 10, 2011 at her home in Springfield, TN.

Funeral service Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at 11:00 A. M. at Robertson County Funeral Home, Oakhurst Chapel, 2201 Memorial Blvd. Springfield, TN Clergy officiating will be Rev. Jim Woodard and Bro. Martin Babb. Interment in Bell Cemetery in Springfield, TN. Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2011, 4pm-8pmCT.


She was born on March 18, in Adair County. She was the daughter of the late Rollin and Pearl Sharp Stephens of Adair Co., KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Vernon Fox She is survived by the following:
  • Her sons and daughters-in-law: Russell S. "Rusty" and Suzanne Fox and John W. and Marcia Fox of Springfield, TN

  • Two sisters: Lucille Harrell of Columbia, KY; and Thomasine Thomas and her husband Robert of Springfield, TN

  • Grandson: Jay Russell Fox
She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, a homemaker, had worked with Rusty and John in different businesses, across the years in Springfield and she enjoyed playing bridge in her free time.
