Shelia Ann Cook, 55, of Columbia, died suddenly Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 12, 2011 at 1pmCT, . at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Allan Durett officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 11amCT, Friday, August 12, 2011 at the funeral home.



Sheila Ann Cook, Adair Co., KY (1956-2011)

She was born Sunday, February 12, 1956 in Washington, DC. She died Thursday, August 11, 2011, at in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 55 years, 5 months, and 31 days.

She was the daughter of the late Earl Long and Dorothy Gilpin Sneed, who survives.

She worked as a housewife and attended Carrying the Torch Ministries Church in Columbia, KY.Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin Cook, and a niece, Emily Long.

Besides her mother, she is survived by the following:
  • Three brothers: Ronald Long of Edmonton, Vernon Long of Bowling Green and Douglas Long of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Connie Chapman of Columbia, KY

  • Three nieces: Stephanie Feese and Alexandria Antle both of Columbia and Chelsie Long of Bowling Green, KY

  • One nephew: Matthew Antle of Columbia, KY
