Happy Birthday to Russell McQueary

Generally, we don't print personal messages as news, but this one is about a very special member of a very special family from a very special, regular, CM contributor, whose stories of memories of Adair County are so popular with ColumbiaMagazine.com readers, and that makes it news:

Von Price writes:
I had to send Russell a big Happy Birthday! What a very nice man and such a gentleman. Since I live out of town and usually only see him when there is a death, but he always makes you feel that he is just so glad to see you. He is truly an asset and a great friend also....Happy Birthday, My friend.! - Von Price, Louisville, KY
In all likelihood, the Happy Birthday, Russell McQueary, was posted by his brother, Rollin McQueary, the family's historian, a valued contributor to CM, whose store of knowledge about the family of the legendary Pete McQueary ought to be in a book -EW.
