Opening Day for Certified Staff - teachers - Aug. 3, 2011 Attendance is required of all teachers By Phyllis Curry Instructional Supervisor, Adair Co. School District All certified employees of the Adair County school system are to report to Adair County High School, 566 Indian DR, Columbia, KY, Wednesday morning, August 3, 2011 for Opening Day. Breakfast will begin at 7amCT, in the cafeteria. Registration will be in the cafeteria during breakfast in order to get everyone signed in more efficiently. There will be a general session that begins at 8:30amCT, followed by mandatory break-out sessions on Classroom Assessment for Student Learning (CASL training) at different locations within the school. Facilitators from the Kentucky Association of School Councils (KASC) will facilitate the CASL training and sessions, which will run from 9am-11amCT, and 12:30pm-2:30pmCT.
