Reward offered for tip leading to arrest of horse trough thief

Unforgivable: 'It's bad enough to steal, but toleave animals without water in this heat is unforgivable.' -April Shepperd

From April Shepperd

Sometime between the evening of Friday, July 22, and Saturday evening,July 23, 2011, a horse trough was stolen from my property on Antioch ChurchRoad just off Hwy 61 South. The thief entered property, went to wherethe water trough was being used, dumped the water and left theproperty with the trough.

Dumping the water meant that our horses could have possibly beenwithout water for 24 hours. When we discovered the trough was missing, the horses were severely thirsty. It's bad enough to steal, but toleave animals without water in this heat is unforgivable.

If anyone has any information about a large, oval Rubbermaid watertrough being pawned, sold or recently aquired, please contact AprilShepperd at (270) 250-4111.A reward is being offered for a tip that leads to an arrest.--April Shepperd
