Michael Crabb, Adair Co., KY (1948-2011)

He loved his family with all he had, enjoyed Nascar, hunting, fishing with his grand kids and brothers in law. He loved his country and served his Lord faithfully. He was a Vietnam Veteran and commander and life member VFW Post #6097 until his illness. He was a member of Okolona Masonic Lodge #853, He was a founding member and Trustee of the Victory Community Church, was a Kentucky Colonel and was retired from Navistar International in Louisville, KY

Michael Crabb, age 62, years of the Holmes Bend Community Columbia, KY passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:54 A.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY with Bro. Bill Henson officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted Tuesday evening at 7pmCT, by Columbia Masonic Lodge #96 at the funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by local VFW Post 6097 at the funeral home. Visitation will be after 2:30pmCT Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the funeral home.



Michael Crabb, Adair Co., KY (1948-2011)

Michael Crabb was born Thursday, December 2, 1948 in Louisville, KY.He was the son of the late Larry Crabb and Betty Bowles Crabb of Louisville, KY, who survives. He died Monday, July 18, 2011, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 62 years, 7 months, and 16 days.

Besides his mother. he is survived by his wife, Trudy Lowery Crabb, of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters and sons in law: Rhonda and Ken Smith of Louisville, KY; Jennie and Jon Shelpman of Logan, OH; and Debbie and Luke Meadows of Columbia, KY

  • One son and daughter in law: Rob and Kim Tate of Springfield, OH

  • Three sisters and brothers in law: Jerrie and Bobby Mashburn of Hamilton, AL; Kathy and Jim Taylor of Louisville, KY; and Phyllis and Damon Webb of Louisville, KY

  • Grandchildren: Michael, Cody, Lane, Misty, Aaron, Travis, Ken Allen, Chris, Preston and Noah

  • A great grandaughter: Kinsley

  • A number of nieces, nephews and Loving family

  • A Special friend of the family: Aaron Burkhardt.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Victory Community Church Building Fund and may be made at the funeral home.
