Adair SAR thanks all for support at Adair County Fair By Janie Potts We wish to thank everyone for the support they gave to the Adair County Search and Rescue (SAR) Team at the Adair County Fair. We especially want to thank everyone who purchased tickets, all the dunkees who fulfilled their commitments to sit in the dunking booth with such good humor; to B.J. Bray who was a pinch hitter for the dunking booth, and to the donor of the calves, who has asked to remain anonymous.We had a lot of fun. We're still tallying the receipts. The final report is not ready yet, but we think it will be good. We also want to congratulate the winners of the calves. Janie Coffey won the bull calf, and Justin Furkins won the heifer calf. If you would like to contribute to the work of your Adair County SAR, please contact me, Janie Potts, at (270) 250-5098, or Chief Joe Collins at (270) 378-1597.
