Melewi wants to know if chain saw training is for public?

Writer responds to paragraph in Adair County Fiscal Court Report, July 12, 2011 meeting wherein her honor, CJE Ann Melton, made reference to a regional two-day Chainsaw Safety Seminar to be held in Columbia, KY.

Melewi writes:
Is the chain saw training just for the county road department or is it open to the public? Inquiring minds want to know. - Melewi
You came to the right place, to CM. We called Lisa Lee at CJE Ann Melton's office and found out that the class is open to the public, but is limited to about 40 people. The tuition is $75 per person. Lisa Lee said that it is her understanding that two lunches will be catered and that snacks will be provided. Day One will start in the air conditioned basement of the Beautiful Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. Day Two will be in the a more rustic setting, on the County Property by the Adair Search & Rescue Building (address is currently being established by Adair 911 Mapping and Addressing Coordinator Justin Bailey, and Mayor Mark D. Harris of the City of Columbia, KY). For more information, call (270) 384-4703 to speak with Lisa Lee. -Ed Waggener
