Josie Ann McKinley age 93 years a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 8:28amCT, at Summit Manor.

The funeral service will be Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11amCT at the Egypt Christian Church, 4867 Knifley RD, Columbia, KY, with interment in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the funeral home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.



Josie Ann Brockman McKinley, Adair Co., KY (1918-2011)

Josie Ann McKinley was born on Sunday, March 3, 1918 in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Laura Ann Holmes Brockman. She died on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 93 years, 4 months, and 9 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bascum "B.B." McKinley on August 17, 2003 also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, George Brockman, Roy Brockman, and Clarice Robertson.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law Joe Bishop and Lynda McKinley of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Rachel Ann Hutchison and husband Raymond, Joe Bishop McKinley II and William Jacob McKinley.

  • One great grandchild: Evan Parker Hutchison

  • Several nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.
