Mildred Jean Burton age 67 years of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 11:32amCT, at her home.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Tuesday, July 12, 2011.



Mildred Jean Coffey Burton, Adair Co., KY (1944-2011)

She was born on June 11, 1944 in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late William Taft and Mary Lee Burton Coffey. She died Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 67 years and 29 days.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Gene Burton, of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Michael Lynn Burton of Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Betty Lee Wheeler of Ohio

  • One grandson: Brody Walker Burton

  • Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Bill Coffey and Clarence Ray CoffeyShe attended the Bloomington Chapel Brethren In Christ Church. She had done baby sitting and was a homemaker.

Memorials are suggested to Gideon Bibles and may be made at the funeral home.
