Farmers Market Report, Friday, July 8, 2011 from Caitie Bunnell

Call arrived at CM World Headquarters at 6:22amCT, Friday, July 8, 2011, for the Adair Farmers Market, 409 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY. It's open today from 6am-10amCT, as it is on each Tuesday and Friday during the growing season. Starting Saturday, July 9, 2011, the market will be open each Saturday from 8am-12pm noon CT for those whose public jobs make the Tuesday-Friday hours inconvenient.

Thanks, everybody for reading our report and for coming out to the Farmers Market. Myra isn't here today, but she says she'll be here tomorrow, and I want to remind everyone that we start our Saturdays, from 8am-12pm noon CT sales TOMORROW.

  • John and Joyce Wolodozki, McGaha, KY: Potatoes. Half runner beans. Roma Beans. Brown Stick Beans. Tomatoes - Red. Yellow Squash. Cucumbers. Peppers.
  • Holly Sinclair, Sano, KY: Raspberries. Blackberries. Cabbage. Beets. Zucchini. Yellow Squash. Cucumbers. Red and White New Potatoes. Sugar Snap Peas. Burpees Stringless Green Beans. A few hot peppers.
