Lou Keltner, Adair Co., KY (1937-2011)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Adair County family. She was a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church and a homemaker

Lou Keltner age 74, of the Milltown Community of Adair County, KY passed away Tuesday, July 05, 2011 at 1:30amCT, at her home after several months illness.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11amCT at the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Scott Ezell and Bro. Bobby Withers the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery. The family request visitation after 5pmCT on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.



Pallbearers: Chad Bivens, Alan VanArsdale, Daryl VanArsdale, Doug VanArsdale, Joe VanArsdale, and Kevin VanArsdale.

She was born Friday, January 8, 1937 in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Floy Burris VanArsdale. She died Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in Milltown, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 27 days.She is survived by her husband, Bobby Keltner of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • One daughter: Sandra Brock of Columbia, KY

  • One son and daughter in law: Greg Keltner and wife Annette of Glensfork, KY

  • One brother: J.C. VanArsdale of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Doris Miller of Creelsboro, KY and Judy Miller of Creelsboro, KY; and Donna Bivens of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Laramie Pelston and Jared Brock

  • Four great grandchildren: Timothy Brock, Katie Brock, Brandon Brock & Greyson Pelston

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by a sister Rena Carter in 1984 and a brother Paul VanArsdale in 1995She was a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church and a homemaker.Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
