Finnis Ray Burton, age 67, of Sulphur Well, KY died Wednesday, June 28, 2011, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT,Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10amCT, Sunday until service time at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Bennie and Gracie Simpson Burton.

He was a self employed mechanic.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Timmy (Tammy) Burtonof Edmonton, KY; Bobby Joe Burton of Knob Lick, KY; and Chris McIntyre ofEdmonton, KY

  • One daughter: Tresa (Kevin) Willis of Cave City, KY

  • One brother: Gary Burton of Edmonton, KY

  • Two sisters: Lardene Owens of Glasgow, KY;and Bernice Huff of Center, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Ashley, Jessica, Ally,Jordon, Christopher, Craig and Meagan, Conner and Kerri Ann.

  • Four great grandchildren: Camron, Jayden, Gavin and Noah
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Dillingham and Rebecca Boston and one brother, James Burton and by one great grandson Evan.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
