DANVILLE, KY (2011/05/26) - Jacob Edwards of Columbia, KY, graduated from Centre College during the 188th commencement ceremony held at the College's Norton Center for the Arts on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Edwards earned a bachelor's degree in biology.

Edwards is the son of David and Carolyn Edwards of Columbia and is a 2007 graduate of Adair County High School.




The Class of 2011 included Centre's first Mitchell scholar and two Fulbright winners.

The commencement speakers were Dr. Lee T. Todd, and Dr. T. Pearse Lyons. Both received an honorary doctor of humane letters degree from Centre during the ceremony.
