Reader writes of Columbia, KY in different light - not quite so perfect Amy Martin writes: There are terrible crimes here. There are murders - one of the most successful businessmen of Adair County was murdered just a couple of years ago, remember? Drug crimes are excessive. Along with that, we have a high rate of poverty with hardly any jobs here. A high teen pregnancy rate.
