There will be a Homecoming Reunion for all former students of Brooks Coomer who knew him as teacher, principal, Title I director, and transportation director) 1941 - 1978, held at the Sparksville Baptist Church, 9401 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY, 9 miles south of Columbia on KY 61, 1pm-3pmCT, on Friday, June 17, 2011.

After registering , everyone will be able to talk and visit with each other. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall. Brooks is very excited to see and talk with each of you. His students attended Bird Elementary, Keith's Chapel Elementary, Wilson Elementary, Columbia Grade and high School 7th-8th grades. He was Breeding Principal and also taught 6th and 7th grades there.

He was Adair County High School Principal, Title I Director 1969-1978 for all Adair County Schools and was also transportation director. If for some reason you are not able to attend, you may call Mr. Coomer at 270-384-4165 in the evenings so he can talk with you. Please, no Saturday or Sunday calls. At the reunion, each person registering as a former student will be eligible for a drawing for a nice door prize. -Faye Bault
