One fatality in Clinton Co. head-on collision

ALBANY, KY - Trooper Tony Wells is investigating a fatal collision which occurred at 4:25pmCT, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Junction of KY 90 and KY 558 one mile East of Albany.

Ozzie Z. Lee, age 20, Albany was operating a 1992 Nissan and was traveling Eastbound on KY 90 when he began drifting into the Westbound Lane and struck a 2006 GMC head on.

The 2006 GMC was operated by Lucus Jones, age 24, Albany and had just entered KY 90 from KY 558 when it was struck.

Lee was pronounced deceased at the scene by Clinton County Coroner. Neither operator was wearing a seat belt. Mr Jones was treated and released from Clinton County Hospital.Trooper Wells was assisted at the scene by Trooper David Long, Sergeant Greg Brown, Clinton County Sheriff Department, Clinton County EMS, Clinton County Fire Department.
