Freda Ann Pettit Kingery departed this life Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, with Rev. Landon hadley and Rev. Darrell Hensley officiating. Interment will be in New Salem Cemetery, Green Co., KY.



Pallbearers: John Robert Whitlow, Bill Whitlow, Mike Holland, Hank Rapier, Ronald Whitlow, and Adrian Cobb.

Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Holland, Shawn Coffey, Vernon Howard Pettit, and Marion Pettit.

Freda Ann Pettit Kingery was born Wednesday.January 8, 1958 in Taylor Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late John and Ella Wesley Wooldridge Pettit. She departed this life Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, having attained the age of 53 years, 4 months and 16 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Old Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a cook at the Kozy Korner Restaurant in Greensburg and was also employed at Medco Nursing Home in Campbellsville.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one brother and one sister: John Pettit and Wanda Lou Whitlow.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Timothy Todd Whitlow of Greensburg, KY

  • Four sisters: Brenda Sue Helm, Alice Bryant and Willie Frances Pettit all of Greensburg, KY and Betty Jean Moran of Stephensburg, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Tiffany and Kimberly Whitlow, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
